For the Gochujang Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang Paste Korean brand recommended
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup Can substitute with honey or agave
  • 1/2 tbsp Lime Juice Can use lemon juice

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of your Brussels sprouts and slice them in half while keeping them attached at the base. Toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until fully coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Combine gochujang paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, and lime juice in a bowl and mix until well combined.
  5. Remove the sprouts from the oven, transfer to the bowl with the sauce, and stir until coated. Return to the baking sheet and roast for an additional 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, plate the sprouts, and serve warm. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
