  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari tamari is great for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional if unavailable.
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter almond or sunflower seed butter can substitute.
  • 1 pinch salt adjust according to your taste.
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha omit if you prefer a milder wrap.
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger ginger paste serves as a good substitute.
  • 1 clove minced garlic garlic powder can be used if fresh isn't on hand.
For the Slaw
  • 2 cups prepared shredded coleslaw fresh veggies can be used instead if preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage optional if coleslaw mix is enough.
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots grated carrots can work if you're in a pinch.

For the Wraps
  • 4 leaves Butter/Boston Lettuce romaine or iceberg lettuce can be used as substitutes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, low-sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, creamy peanut butter, salt, sriracha, minced ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. In a large bowl, mix prepared shredded coleslaw, shredded red cabbage, matchstick carrots, diced red bell pepper, cooked edamame, chopped green onions, salted peanuts, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the slaw and toss gently until everything is coated. Allow the slaw to sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Microwave the Evol Teriyaki Chicken frozen meals for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  5. Take butter or Boston lettuce leaves and spoon a generous amount of the heated teriyaki chicken onto each leaf. Top with the slaw.
