Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with water, add coarse salt, and bring to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions, about 2-4 minutes, until al dente.
  2. While pasta cooks, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Once pasta is cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Pour dressing over pasta, add halved grape tomatoes, capers, and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently to coat.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  6. Before serving, fold in fresh basil leaves and lemon zest, garnish with extra Parmesan and capers.
