Next, take 1 jalapeño, halve it, and remove the seeds and ribs if you prefer a milder sauce. Peel and roughly chop 2 to 3 cloves of garlic and juice 2 limes to prepare for blending.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine the chopped cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño, and garlic along with ½ cup of mayonnaise. Secure the lid tightly and blend on high for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. After blending, check the consistency of your sauce. If the sauce appears too thick for your liking, add a splash of lime juice, about a teaspoon, for extra tang. Blend again for about 10 seconds until smooth.
