Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and a dash of fresh ground black pepper until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 4 cups of fresh broccoli florets, 6 strips of crispy cooked bacon (crumbled), half a chopped red onion, 1 cup of sweetened dried cranberries, and 1 cup of sliced almonds. Toss gently to blend.
  3. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the combined salad ingredients and toss gently to coat.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the salad for 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Before serving, give the salad a gentle toss to ensure the dressing is evenly distributed.
