  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh, minced

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 800 g Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 200 g Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Basil chopped
For the Topping
  • 100 g Mozzarella Cheese shredded

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Finely chop the red onion and garlic and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add red onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, canned diced tomatoes, heavy cream, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked tortellini with the prepared sauce in a mixing bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
