Preparation Steps

  3. Cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the egg and orange zest until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Brush with honey after cooling.
