Preparation Steps
  1. Start by placing 1 cup of ripe strawberries in a blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds or until you achieve a smooth purée. If desired, add a tablespoon of honey while blending.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder with 2-3 tablespoons of hot water until it forms a smooth paste. Slowly stir in 1 cup of cold milk and mix until combined.
  3. Pour one-third of the strawberry purée into a clear glass, then gently pour the matcha mixture over the back of a spoon to create a distinct separation.
  4. Garnish with a fresh strawberry placed on the rim of the glass or a sprinkle of matcha powder on top. Serve immediately.
