  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted or vegan for dairy-free

  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar Granulated sugar can substitute
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Coconut whipped cream can substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional for flavor enhancement
For the Strawberry Topping
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Macerated
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar For macerating
  • Powdered Sugar to taste for Dusting Optional finishing touch

Method
 

Macerating the Strawberries
  1. Slice fresh strawberries and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and toss gently. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes.
Preparing the Cheesecake Filling
  1. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together using an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes, until smooth.
Whipping the Cream
  1. Pour heavy cream into a bowl and whip with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes. Fold into the cream cheese mixture.
Cooking the Waffles
  1. Preheat waffle iron. Brush with melted butter, pour batter and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Assembling the Waffles
  1. Place one waffle on a plate, spread cheesecake filling on top, spoon macerated strawberries over it, and top with another waffle.
Serving and Garnishing
  1. Garnish the stacked waffles with remaining macerated strawberries and dust with powdered sugar.
