Cookie Preparation
- Cream butter until smooth and creamy for 2-3 minutes.

- Chill cut cookies for 1 hour on baking trays.

- Cool cookies on racks for 5 minutes before decorating.
- Prepare royal icing by beating egg whites and gradually adding powdered sugar.
- Decorate cooled cookies with colored icing as desired.
