  • 1 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Perfect for dipping.

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Shallow Dish
  • Clean Surface

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add one pound of ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of chili flakes, cooking for about 5–7 minutes or until the beef is browned and fully cooked. If using vegetables, add them in the last 2 minutes.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water and take one rice paper wrapper, submerging it gently for about 30 seconds until soft and pliable. Lay it on a clean surface.
  3. On each hydrated rice paper wrapper, place a fresh basil leaf in the center, followed by a spoonful of the beef mixture. Roll tightly by folding the bottom edge over the filling, tucking in the sides before rolling upwards to seal.
  4. Serve immediately or with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping.
