Step-by-Step Instructions for Taco Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 13x9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large skillet, brown 1 pound of lean ground beef over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1 chopped small onion and sauté until soft, 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add 1 packet of taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water, increase heat to boil for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and mix in 1 can of drained black beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles, and 1/2 cup of sour cream. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
