Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 packet of active dry yeast with 1 cup of warm water and let it foam for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1 large egg yolk.
  3. Add the foamy yeast mixture and gradually stir in 3 cups of all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Dust a clean surface with flour and knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Lightly coat a bowl with olive oil, place the dough inside, and cover it with a damp cloth to rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently. Brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter.
  8. Stretch the dough to the edges of the pan, cover, and let it rest for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Brush the top generously with melted butter, and sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic salt, and oregano.
  10. Bake for 28-31 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  11. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into sticks and serving with marinara sauce.
