  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Balls or shredded mozzarella

Step-by-Step Instructions for Pesto Turkey Meatballs
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, basil pesto, panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Shape the mixture into approximately 12 meatballs.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. When hot, gently add the meatballs and sear for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Carefully pour marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Cover and simmer on low for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove the lid and scatter mozzarella balls over the meatballs. Bake for 10 minutes.
