Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt can substitute with sour cream or omit
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill can substitute with parsley or mint
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice lime juice can be used as an alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano adjust spices to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika adjust as desired
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin adjust according to preference

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine finely diced onion, freshly minced garlic, and freshly chopped baby spinach with ground chicken. Use your hands or a spatula to mix until well blended, about 2 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, chopped fresh dill, fresh lemon juice, and spices into the chicken mixture. Stir until fully combined, about 2 minutes.
  3. Wet your hands lightly and form the mixture into about 12 uniform patties, about 1 inch thick.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Wait until the oil shimmers, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden-brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. For air frying, preheat your air fryer to 375°F, lightly spray the basket with cooking oil, and cook the patties in a single layer for 13-15 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
