Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and pineapple juice until smooth. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low, add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer for 1-2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Toss the seared shrimp in the sauce for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. Fold in chopped pineapple and cook for another minute.
  7. Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and stir to combine.
  8. Mix in lime juice and chopped cilantro just before serving.
