Classic Meatloaf Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, garlic, ketchup, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf, about 2 inches thick, and place into your prepared loaf pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. This will be the glaze.
  5. Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for 45 minutes, checking the internal temperature (should be at least 160°F/71°C).
  6. Remove from the oven, apply the remaining glaze, and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve with favorite sides.
