Classic Meatloaf Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, garlic, ketchup, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf, about 2 inches thick, and place into your prepared loaf pan.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. This will be the glaze.
- Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for 45 minutes, checking the internal temperature (should be at least 160°F/71°C).
- Remove from the oven, apply the remaining glaze, and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes until caramelized.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve with favorite sides.
