Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add sliced yellow onions and thyme, stirring. Cook for 40 minutes until caramelized.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lay bacon strips on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise with A1 steak sauce and black pepper. Refrigerate for later use.
  4. Combine ground meat with beef bouillon and spices. Form into 12 balls, cook patties on a griddle for 2 minutes, and add Gruyere to melt.
  5. Toast buns, assemble with arugula, cooked patties, caramelized onions, bacon, and A1 mayo. Top with the other half of the bun.
