Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by rinsing the large Argentine prawns under cold water, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together light soy sauce and cornstarch until fully combined. Toss the shrimp in the mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, and set aside for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add 3-4 cloves of freshly minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds, stirring frequently.
- Add the coated shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque, then flip them to the other side and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Once the shrimp are perfectly cooked, pour 4 tablespoons of honey over them in the pan. Toss gently until they are evenly coated and allow it to simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat and transfer the honey garlic shrimp to a serving dish. Garnish generously with finely chopped green onions.

Notes
Ensure all ingredients are ready before you start cooking. Cook shrimp just until pink and opaque. Pat shrimp dry before coating for a perfect sear.
