Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, adding olive oil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove and keep warm.
  3. Prepare the Sauce Base: In the same skillet, melt butter and cream cheese over medium heat until smooth.
  4. Combine Cream and Seasonings: Gradually add heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Thicken the Sauce: Continue simmering for 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  6. Finish the Sauce and Add Shrimp: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then fold in shrimp.
