Method
 

Jello Shot Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the strawberry jello mix with 1 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved, which should take about 2 minutes.
  2. Once your jello base is dissolved, stir in ½ cup of cold water and ½ cup of vodka, whisking gently until fully incorporated.
  3. Carefully distribute the jello mixture evenly into 2 oz. plastic cups, filling each about three-quarters full. Place the cups in the refrigerator and let them chill until set, about 2 hours.
  4. When the jello shots are set, top each shot with whipped cream and place an upside-down strawberry on top to mimic Santa's hat.
