Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Sterilize the equipment by rinsing a 1-quart heatproof pitcher and tea infuser with hot water.
  2. Layer the dried culinary lavender at the bottom of the infuser, followed by the black tea leaves.
  3. Pour 4 cups of hot water over the layered ingredients and steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the infuser and stir in 2-3 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup while the tea is warm.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature for about 15-20 minutes and then chill in the refrigerator for at least 75 minutes.
  6. Serve over ice, garnishing with fresh lemon slices and lavender sprigs.
