  4. Gently fold in the mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple.
  5. Introduce the mini marshmallows and fold them in for 1 minute.
  6. Add the thawed whipped topping and fold it into the salad gently for approximately 2 minutes.
  7. Fold in the fresh orange zest for a light, zesty flavor.
