  • 1 medium Apple Chop into thin slices, use your favorite variety.
  • 1 stick Cinnamon Fresh cinnamon sticks are ideal.
  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Warm the water in a pot until small bubbles form on the sides.
  2. Pour warm water into a carafe or pitcher.
  3. Add chopped apple and cinnamon stick to the warm water.
  4. Cover and let brew at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Refrigerate the infusion for 1-2 hours.
  6. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the chilled infusion.
  7. Serve in a glass, optionally garnished with apple or lemon slice.
