- In a separate bowl, combine the flavored gelatin with hot water and stir until dissolved. Let it thicken slightly.
- Drizzle the Jello mixture over the sweetened popcorn and gently toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle coated popcorn with salt, adjusting to taste, and mix gently.
- Spread the coated popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
