- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on the buttered side.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down. Spread marinara sauce, then layer mozzarella, Parmesan, and turkey pepperoni. Top with remaining slices, butter side out.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat until warm.
- Place assembled sandwiches in the skillet. Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, pressing down gently.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melting.
- Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, then slice diagonally. Optional: garnish with fresh basil.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
