  • 1 cup Passion Fruit Purée fresh or frozen for best flavor
  • 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour sifted
  • Powdered Sugar optional for dusting

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine room temperature unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Process for about 2-3 minutes until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add sifted all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt. Pulse until crumbly, then press into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden. Allow cooling.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and passion fruit purée until frothy. Gradually add granulated sugar and sifted flour until smooth.
  6. Pour filling over the cooled crust and bake for 25-35 minutes until edges are firm.
  7. Cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting.
