Preparation
- Soften the cream cheese by microwaving it for about 10 seconds until just softened. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and mint extract for approximately 60 seconds until fluffy and well combined.
- Gradually pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring gently as you go. Add a few drops of green food coloring, if desired, and continue mixing until the sugar has dissolved completely.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint, secure the lid, and freeze for a full 24 hours.
- After freezing, take the pint out of the freezer, remove the lid, and attach the Creamerizer™ Paddle securely. Lock the lid onto the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami machine.
- Select the ICE CREAM setting on the Ninja Creami and start the machine, which takes about 2–3 minutes to achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Create a hole in the center of the ice cream and sprinkle in the mini chocolate chips. Select the MIX-IN program to integrate the chocolate chips throughout the ice cream.
- Remove the ice cream from the pint using a scoop or spatula, serve immediately in waffle cones or bowls, and enjoy!
