Ingredients

For the Batter
  • 3 medium overripe bananas, mashed Provides essential moisture and natural sweetness; ensure they’re well-mashed for even flavor.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Adds richness and moisture; prefer unsalted to control saltiness.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Sweetens and helps with browning; feel free to reduce for less sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Infuses deeper flavor and extra moisture from molasses.
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature Functions as a binding agent; helps mix in seamlessly.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Elevates the overall flavor; opt for pure for the best taste.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Contributes extra moisture; sour cream works as a substitute.
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda Ensures a light and fluffy bread; check freshness for best rise.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Balances sweetness and enhances overall flavor.
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Provides essential structure; sifting can create a fluffier texture.
