  • 1/2 cup Nutella Can substitute with smooth almond butter
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar Ensure mixture is creamy
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional for a simpler version
For the Topping
  • 1 pinch Flaky Sea Salt Sprinkle lightly over each bomb
  • 1 tablespoon Optional Cocoa Powder Can use powdered sugar instead

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Roll out the puff pastry until it’s about 3mm thick, then cut into 10 cm (4-inch) circles.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Nutella, melted unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each pastry circle, leaving a 1 cm (½-inch) border.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling to create half-moon shapes, press to seal, and crimp edges with a fork. Brush tops with egg wash.
  5. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over each bomb.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar before serving.
