  • 2 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken Rotisserie chicken recommended
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup Low-sodium options are better
  • 1 cup French Onion Soup
For Creaminess
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Replace with dairy-free yogurt if needed
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella or Swiss)
For the Crunch
  • 1.5 cups French Fried Onions Split for mixing and topping
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Season to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Season to taste
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley Adds color and freshness

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked white rice, shredded cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Stir in 1 cup of French fried onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  3. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spoon the mixture into the dish, spreading evenly.
  4. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until edges bubble and the center is hot.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of French fried onions on top. Return to oven for 5 minutes until onions are golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
