Step-by-Step Instructions for Korean Spicy Chicken Stir Fry
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 pound of sliced chicken breast to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until uniformly browned.
  3. Introduce 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon of minced ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add 1 sliced bell pepper and 1 sliced onion. Stir-fry for approximately 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of gochujang, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Pour over chicken and vegetables.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
