  • 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour Do not overmix.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts or Pecans (Optional) Can substitute with chocolate chips.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. Mash 3-4 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth, leaving some lumps.
  3. Mix in 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter until glossy and well combined.
  4. Add 1/2 cup honey, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt, followed by 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, and fold gently.
  6. If using, fold in 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (or chocolate chips).
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top and ensuring no air bubbles.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
