  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Shredded Gouda Cheese can substitute with mozzarella
  • 1 cup Deli Chicken or Turkey Slices can skip for vegetarian
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pepperoni optional
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Passata or store-bought pizza sauce
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano or fresh if available
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder can use fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil or fresh for aromatic touch

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs until well beaten. Set aside.
  2. Dip a rice paper sheet in warm water for about 5 seconds until pliable. Shake off excess water.
  3. Lay three soaked rice paper sheets side by side, slightly overlapping them.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato passata on the rice paper, then sprinkle Gouda cheese, deli meat, and pepperoni.
  5. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
  6. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on a lined baking sheet. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with marinara sauce or enjoy plain.
