Preparation Steps
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs until well beaten. Set aside.
- Dip a rice paper sheet in warm water for about 5 seconds until pliable. Shake off excess water.
- Lay three soaked rice paper sheets side by side, slightly overlapping them.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato passata on the rice paper, then sprinkle Gouda cheese, deli meat, and pepperoni.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
- Arrange the rolls seam-side down on a lined baking sheet. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with marinara sauce or enjoy plain.
