Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter with dried parsley and garlic powder. Whisk together egg and water for egg wash.
- Divide the gluten-free pizza dough into two equal parts and roll each into a rectangle about 10x16 inches.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over each rectangle, leaving about a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and layer the deli meats on each rectangle, keeping edges clear.
- Tightly roll the dough from the filled side towards the empty edge, sealing the edge.
- Repeat the process for the second piece of dough with remaining fillings.
- Place the rolled stromboli on the prepared cookie sheet, brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Cut shallow diagonal slits across the top of each stromboli and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the gluten-free stromboli to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving with marinara sauce.
