  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried, can substitute with rosemary
  • 1 cup Goat Cheese can substitute with feta
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream can use dairy-free alternative
  • 1 large Egg for egg wash, omit for vegan option
  • Red Pepper Flakes optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Peel and dice the butternut squash into small cubes, toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper and roast for 25–30 minutes.

  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and caramelize onions for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Roll out the puff pastry to fit your tart pan and place it in the pan.
