Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Korma
  1. Marinate the chicken by combining pieces with yogurt, cumin, turmeric, and cardamom. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and cook ground nuts for 3-5 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and the nut mixture. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Add optional vegetables, stir well, and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until tender.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in cilantro. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot.
