  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) toasted almonds or walnuts provide contrast

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the pears by peeling, coring, and halving them. Set aside.
  2. Create the poaching liquid by combining hibiscus tea, orange juice, and sweetener in a saucepan over medium heat, bringing it to a simmer.
  3. Poach the pears in the simmering liquid for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
  4. Once tender, remove pears and let cool. Optionally reduce the poaching liquid to a syrupy consistency.
  5. Serve the pears with reduced syrup, topped with dairy-free yoghurt and garnished with nuts and mint leaves.
