  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for creaminess
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground to taste
  • 1/2 cup Reserved Broccoli Cooking Water For sauce

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the broccoli and blanch for 2-3 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of cooking water and set broccoli aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the reserved broccoli cooking water into the skillet, add the broccoli, season, and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cook pasta in the same boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well.
  6. Transfer the drained pasta to the skillet, add Parmesan cheese, and toss until combined.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
