- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add chopped yellow onion and diced red bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for another 5–7 minutes until tender.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in orzo pasta and chicken broth, ensuring orzo is submerged. Increase heat to simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15–20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley before serving.
