Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your roasting pan.
- Remove the thawed whole chicken from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary.
- Stuff two lemon halves and additional rosemary sprigs into the chicken's cavity.
- Place the chicken in the oven and reduce the temperature to 375°F (190°C). Roast for about 1 hour and 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes, loosely covered with foil.
- Carve the chicken and serve as the centerpiece of your family dinner.
