Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the tofu width-wise and then length-wise, creating four equal pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, turmeric, and a pinch of black salt.
  4. Coat each tofu slice in the dry mixture, ensuring even coverage on all sides.
  5. Place coated tofu on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Flip and bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. For extra crunch, extend baking time by an additional 5 minutes on each side.
  7. Sprinkle with black salt before serving, and enjoy on their own or in a sandwich.
