  3. Step 3: Create the Cornstarch Slurry: Mix cornstarch and lime juice in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Incorporate the Slurry: Pour the slurry into the saucepan while whisking continuously.
  5. Step 5: Add the Vegan Butter: Whisk in cold vegan butter until melted.
  6. Step 6: Cool and Refrigerate: Cool at room temperature, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
