  • 2 cups Confectioners' Sugar for frosting
  • 2 tbsp Milk for frosting consistency
  • 1 tbsp Food Coloring for decoration
  • 12 pieces Miniature Milk Chocolate Kisses for hats

Equipment

  • Electric mixer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheets
  • Parchment paper
  • Piping Bag

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and cream cheese with sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  2. Add in one large room-temperature egg along with vanilla, almond, and coconut extracts. Beat until thoroughly incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing until no visible flour remains. Refrigerate the dough overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Form three different sized balls from chilled dough for each snowman (1-inch, ¾-inch, ½-inch) and arrange on baking sheets with 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly browned around the edges and soft in the center. Cool on pans for 2 minutes.
  7. Press miniature semisweet chocolate chips into the larger cookies for eyes and use M&M's for buttons while still warm.
  8. Beat together confectioners' sugar, coconut extract, and milk to achieve a smooth piping consistency. Tint if desired.
  9. Decorate using frosting and miniature milk chocolate kisses as hats. Allow frosting to set before enjoying.
