Method
 

Instructions
  1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.
  2. Combine wet ingredients with the yolk mixture.

  4. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy, then add sugar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold meringue into batter in three additions.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Prepare the whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Cut the cooled cake into triangles.
  9. Create a pocket in each triangle.
  10. Assemble the sandwiches with whipped cream and strawberries.
