  2. Pour in the juice of half a lemon and then 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup. Stir well for about 30 seconds to mix thoroughly.
  3. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture over a glass filled with fresh ice using a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Top the mixture with 4-6 ounces of soda water. Stir gently to combine without losing carbonation.
