  • a few drops Food Coloring (Pink and Blue)

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add one egg, cotton candy extract, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
  4. Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into two bowls. Add pink food coloring to one and blue to the other, folding gently.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, take equal portions of both doughs and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake the cookies for about 12 minutes until the edges are golden but centers are still soft.
  8. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
