Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of lean ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning, 1 tablespoon of light brown sugar, 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, ½ cup of sour cream, and ½ cup of salsa until well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese. Allow the residual heat to melt the cheese.
- Microwave tortillas for about 1 minute to soften them. Spoon beef mixture down the center and roll tightly.
- Place flautas seam-side down on the baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes
For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature and tortillas are heated before rolling. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
