Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all ingredients.
  2. Cook linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Pour in white wine or chicken broth, scrape the skillet to lift browned bits, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest along with heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer until tiny bubbles form.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Transfer pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Place shrimp on top.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella over the top.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  11. Let sit a few minutes then garnish with parsley before serving.
