Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper. Let rest while preparing.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until flaky.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add orange juice, honey, soy sauce, orange zest, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Whisk cornstarch with water in a small bowl, then stir into the glaze until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  6. Return salmon to the skillet and spoon glaze over each fillet, heating for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer glazed salmon to a serving platter and garnish with green onions and orange slices.
